Liam Gallagher net worth: How much is former Oasis star on European tour worth?

Liam Gallagher, 45, appeared in headlines this week as he was reunited with his daughter, Molly Moorish, for the first time in 19 years.

The rocker from Manchester was reportedly overcome with emotion when he met the 21-year-old.

A source told The Mirror: “He told her how proud of her he was. After a few hours it got very emotional.

“Liam shed some tears and so did Mollie.”

Liam recently took to the stage by opening for the Rolling Stones on their No Filter tour.

The musician has raked in an impressive fortune throughout his career, but he may not be worth as much as you think.

Liam Gallagher is worth an estimated £5.6million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

According to the website, Liam’s wealth peaked at a massive £45million.

His massive wealth came from his singing career as part of Oasis, but he was never as wealthy as Noel, the main songwriter.

However, his riches have been massively redused due to a lifestyle of partying, big spending and a costly divorce.

During his divorce proceedings with Nicole Appleton, it was established that he had a net worth of £11.25million.

He was subsequently ordered to pay his wife half, leaving him with £5.6million.

The couple had also racked up legal bills of around £800,000, which the judge deemed was “manifestly excessive”.

Their marriage fell apart after it emerged the former Oasis frontman had a secret child with US journalist Liza Ghorbani.

Expensive child support has also seen his funds dwindle.

He has four children, Molly, Lennon, Gene and Gemma to four different women.

Liam is currently making his way around Europe on a tour.

His first concert was at the War Memorial Park in Coventry on May 27, before he sets off to Denmark to perform in Aarhus on June 8.

The singer developed an interest in music when he was around 16-years old.

He formed the band Oasis in 1991 after joining Paul McGuigan’s band Rain and suggesting a name change.

Liam’s brother Noel joined the band soon after, bringing with him many songs he was already working on.

The hugely successful band signed a contract with Sony, releasing their first single Supersonic in April 1994.

It didn’t take long before Oasis was a household name, headlining Glastonbury’s second biggest stage in June the same year.

The band’s second album, (What’s the Story) Morning Glory, was released in October 2015 and became a massive hit.

The album sold an eyewatering 22 million copies worldwide, and five million in the UK alone.

It included top 10 hits such as Wonderwall, Don’t Look Back in Anger and Champagne Supernova.

The band split in 2009 after an incident in Paris involving the Gallagher brothers.

Oasis cancelled their Seine gig, and Noel posted a statement two hours later.

He said: “It is with some sadness and great relief I quit Oasis tonight.

“People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer.”

Since the split, he formed the band Beady Eye and released two albums, Different Gear, Still Speeding and BE between 2009 and 2014.
